40 Litres per Day from Virtually Any Water Source
The HydroWell provides up to 40 liters per day of clean drink from nearly any surface water source. Unlike every other water filtration technology, the HydroWell will never clog due to its unique forward osmosis filter. Use nearly any water source to generate clear drink. Purity levels are comparable to reverse osmosis systems, and the filter meets EPA standards for the removal of biological pathogens (viruses, bacteria, cysts).
How it Works
The osmotic filter is built into a standard water can cap, and sets up in minutes for either stationary or vehicle-mounted operation. Just fill one can with dirty water to be filtered, plug one sports syrup pouch into the cap, and the HydroWell will immediately start pumping clean drink.
There are no purifying chemicals required, nor is any power input needed other than the sports drink syrup charges that drive the filtration process by osmosis. One syrup pouch will filter one 20 liter can of water, providing a better than 35x advantage compared to transporting water and greatly reducing the amount of water you must transport in remote areas.
