To this day , the only equipment available to solve the issue of mass fatality cold storage is oversized walk in refrigerators or refrigerated tractor trailers. Both are functional solutions but also have severe drawbacks when responding to any mass fatality incident. Using liquid cooling technology and specifically designed cooling bags, MRS has developed the MERC System to provide the total solution to mass fatality response. The MERC System is the only system available that does not use chilled air to provide cooling of human remains.
