Petroleum sorbents repel water while absorbing oil and petroleum-based liquids from oil spills and effluent discharges. Sorbent material is secured by UV-resistant netting. Built-in attachment clips at each end of the boom allow the booms to be linked together, overlapping and helping to prevent seepage between segments. T-270 absorbs approximately 20 gallons per boom. T-280 absorbs approximately 10 gallons per boom.
