With no cords or foot pedals to get in the way and no need for grounding, our lightweight, disposable surgical cauteries have no spark gap or dial settings to adjust. A protective cap locks the switch button to help prevent accidental ignition. In the front is a delicate-touch button; a balanced, comfortable handle is in the rear. Each cautery has an initial temperature of 2250°F within a range of ±10%. Individually packaged sterile unless package has been opened or damaged.
